Yoko Shibuya is an economist studying international trade, firm dynamics, and supply chain questions. Her recent paper with Volodymyr Babich (Georgetown University), “Multi-tier Supply Chain Financing with Blockchain,” compares traditional supply chain financing systems with Blockchain-based supply chain finance. She is currently a Ph.D. student at Stanford University and expects to graduate in 2022.
