Abstract: Interviewing often means asking a set of pre- and half-structured questions that form an interview guide for ’collecting data’. But taking ’quality’ in qualitative interviewing seriously means going beyond questions and answers. The seminar will explore problems of research studying interview behaviour, point at alternative views on interviewing – in particular those allowing for rich empirical material and insights.
