EMPOWERING TOMORROW: SUSTAINABLE ENERGIES AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The International Summer School “Empowering Tomorrow: Sustainable Energies and Entrepreneurship” is a two-week, Master-level intensive offered by the TUM School of Management in collaboration with the TUM SEED Center. The program examines entrepreneurial and innovation-based approaches to the global energy transition, with a particular focus on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).

 

Hosted on the TUM campus in Munich, the Summer School combines lectures, interactive seminars, workshops, supervised group project work, and select site visits. Participants work in international, interdisciplinary teams to develop and pitch a sustainable energy business model. Successful completion awards 6 ECTS; assessment consists of a final group presentation and a short written paper (max. 3,000 words).

 

The detailed 2026 schedule will be published in early 2026. In the meantime, the 2025 program provides an indicative preview of the structure and thematic focus.

Program

Joining the International Summer School 2026 gives you the chance to dive into a two-week program that combines academic input, entrepreneurial practice, and field visits in and around Munich. Learn from leading academics and sustainable founders while collaborating with an international cohort of like-minded peers.

Program fee

Early-bird rate (registration by 31 March 2026): €1,290

 

Regular rate (registration by 30 April 2026): €1,490

 

 

The fee includes tuition, course materials, and program activities. Travel and accommodation are not included.
