The next Graduation Ceremony is expected to take place on Saturday, 25 June 2026 at the TUM Audimax, Arcisstr. 21,  80333 Munich

Graduates TUM Campus Heilbronn

Please note that in addition to their own celebration in Heilbronn, graduates from our Heilbronn campus will also be invited to the ceremony in Munich.

Bachelor and Master graduates:

Invitations will only be sent to graduates who have successfully completed all program requirements by Friday, 1 May 2026, 23:59 CEST. All grades – including the final thesis – must be validated in TUMonline, with the grade appearing in green.

Please note that the validation process depends on the time your examiners need to assess your papers. Please understand that in the interest of equal treatment of all students, it is not possible to enter and validate exams for individual students. Thank you for your patience!

Any graduates whose grades are validated after this time will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony in 2026, but will receive an invitation to the graduation ceremony in 2027.

Doctoral candidates:

Invitations will only be sent to doctoral candidates who have successfully completed the doctoral program by Friday, 1 May 2026, 23:59 CEST:

1. Oral examination must have taken place.

2. Signed examination sheet of the oral examination must have been sent to doctoralprogram@mgt.tum.de by the chair of the examination committee.

Any doctoral candidates who finishes the doctoral program after this time will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony in 2026, but will receive an invitation to the graduation ceremony in 2027. For further questions please refer to doctoralprogram@mgt.tum.de.

Invitations with a link to the ticket shop will be sent out in early June 2026. From that point, the registration period will be open for two weeks.

Invitations will only be sent to graduates who have successfully completed all program requirements. Please read the "How can I attend the Graduation Ceremony?" section carefully for more information. 

IMPORTANT:

→ Invitations will only be sent to the email address saved in TUMonline. Please ensure that your email address there is up to date

→ Double‑check your email address for possible spelling mistakes

→ Also check your spam folder when looking for your invitation. The sender will be: TUM School of Management <noreply@easy-welcome.de>

→ Please note: there is a fixed registration deadline stated in your invitation

There will be only one round of invitations, and all eligible graduates will receive their invitation at the same time. The registration link provided in your invitation will be valid for approximately two weeks. Tickets are available only while seats last and will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a fixed deadline for registration, which is clearly stated in your invitation. After this date, ticket purchases will no longer be possible.

As long as seats are available, each graduate is welcome to bring two guests to the ceremony.

Ticket prices will be announced as soon as they are available.

Doctoral graduates:

A festive finale awaits you and your fellow graduates to celebrate your successful graduation from the TUM School of Management. Each graduate will have their photo taken while shaking hands with the professor on stage.

We are pleased to offer you and your guests a complimentary drink for free.

Due to the large number of graduates, it is not possible to hand out personalized graduation certificates at the Graduation Ceremony. Each graduate will receive their documents from TUM Center for Study and Teaching - Graduation Office and Academic Records at an individual time.

A participation fee will be charged per person for the Graduation Ceremony. The ticket price for 2026 has not yet been determined. Information regarding the cost will be announced as soon as it becomes available.

If you are interested in renting a gown, please check the respective link to our partner Robe Academicus in the email invitation or order one here using the code TUM; a rental fee will be charged.

If you have any questions regarding the gown rental, please reach out to Robe Academicus directly.

We encourage you to plan your travel as soon as you have received your purchase confirmation for your ticket(s). This confirmation is the only way we can guarantee your access to the event. 

Travel plans before ticket confirmation are at your own risk. 

We do not issue documents for visa applications; however, we can send you an email stating that you have been invited and that you may bring guests to the event. This email will also include the date and location of our Graduation Ceremony. 

This event will be conducted in English. 

The TUM School of Management in Munich usually hosts one Graduation Ceremony per year. Accordingly, the next Graduation Ceremony would take place in summer 2027. 

Please note, however, that this is not yet final information and may be subject to change at any time. The final dates of the respective events will always be communicated in due time through our official channels.
