Dr. Werner Brandt served for nearly a decade as Chairman of RWE, a leading energy company with approximately 20,000 employees and a turnover of around €20 billion, and is one of Europe's most distinguished top managers.
Dr. Brandt has also served on the supervisory boards of Siemens, ProSiebenSat.1, Lufthansa, Qiagen, and Osram, among others. Prior to his work on supervisory boards, he was CFO of SAP, one of the world's largest software companies, for more than a decade, following his time as CFO and labor director of Fresenius Medical Care. Before that, he was a member of the management board and Vice President of European Operations at Baxter Germany. Mr. Brandt began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PwC).
Dr. Brandt studied business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and subsequently earned his doctorate from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
