Sanjiv Lamba is CEO of Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with nearly 70,000 employees, and one of the most prominent executives in the European energy sector.
Prior to his appointment as CEO of Linde, Mr. Lamba served as the company's COO. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions, including Executive Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, after spending more than a decade with Bank of India (BOC), including as Managing Director in India. Mr. Lamba began his career as a trainee at Unilever.
Mr. Lamba holds a degree in Economics from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta, and is a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
