Professor Thomas Hutzschenreuter discusses the usability of AI for managerial decision-making in an article of the FAZ. Algorithms are extremely useful for frequent and stable decision situations such as purchasing, logistics’ as well as maintenance decisions, but fail in infrequent and unstable situations. For rare and unique entrepreneurial decisions a human entrepreneurial decision-maker is still needed and cannot be substituted by AI. Read on here.
