Torsten Leue is CEO of Talanx, a leading insurance company with about 30,000 employees, and Chairman of Hannover Re, one of the world's three largest reinsurers, and is one of Germany's most important top managers.
Before his appointment as CEO, Mr. Leue was as a member of the executive board of Talanx and served as the firm's Human Resources Director and CEO of Talanx International AG. Prior to this, Mr. Leue worked for Allianz for almost two decades, holding various leadership positions, including CEO of Allianz Slovakia and Regional Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Leue began his career in the "Fast Track" program of Allianz.
Mr. Leue studied business administration at the Technical University of Berlin and the Université Montpellier in France.
