As part of Science Day 2026, participants gained insights into ongoing research activities and engaged in academic exchange. Doctoral researchers presented their work in a poster exhibition, complemented by engaging talks and the presentation of awards recognizing outstanding research achievements.
A total of 15 doctoral researchers took part in the Best Poster Competition. From these, three winners were selected and honored with the Best Poster Award, sponsored by TUM Management Alumni e.V.
In addition, three professors were recognized with the Research Awards: Holger Patzelt received the Distinguished Research Excellence Award, Johannes Sauer the Outstanding Research Productivity Award, and Jochen Hartmann the Early Career Research Award.
